Council works with investors and developers to encourage growth and new industry in a sustainable manner.

Faster Broadband — Fixed wireless broadband through the NBN program is being rolled-out within the Local Government Area and is already available in a number of Shire locations. Cowra Council is currently assisting NBN with planning through the provision of GIS data for the roll-out of fibre optic connections in Cowra township in 2016.

Rental Market — A shortage of rental accommodation, availability of cheap land, and low vacancy rates makes Cowra an ideal place to invest.

Location —At the crossroads of the Central West, Cowra's strategic location offers immediate access to the Mid-Western Highway; mid-way between Brisbane and Melbourne.
