Applications have opened for Community Grants Program

The next round of Cowra Council's Community Grants Program is now open, offering eligible community groups the opportunity to update their equipment or undertake improvements to infrastructure and buildings.

Now in its 15th round, the annual grants program allows eligible individuals and community groups to apply and lodge their application by Wednesday 31 August 2022.

This popular program has seen close to 300 local projects funded at a value over $320,000 since its inception.

Successful projects funded under the last round included $2,000 to the Cowra Campdraft and Rodeo Association to establish a canteen at the Campdraft arena; $1,500 to Riding for the Disabled (NSW) Cowra Centre to assist in the replacement of wire fencing; $1,000 to the Cowra Amateur Swimming Club to assist in the purchase of drink bottles for swimmers and $1,000 to the Cowra Eisteddfod Inc. to assist in the purchase of display equipment.
