Waste and recycling collection

Cowra Council aims to safely collect, transport, and treat, all household waste in an efficient, cost-effective manner and to return all treated products back into the ecosystem in an ecologically-sustainable method.

Calendars with information regarding Cowra and Village/Rural Recycling Collection schedules and the relevant recycling pick-up days for your area are available from Council’s Customer Service Centre and the MRF.

Please put your bins out the night before and facing the kerb approximately one-meter apart. Do not place near parked cars or low-hanging trees.
