Expressions of Interest - CBD Committee

CSC Councillors

Cowra Shire Council is forming a CBD committee. Expressions of interest are now open for interested community members.

Council wants enthusiastic community members to help push for a renewal of the Cowra Central Business District (CBD).

We want your input and creativity as we activate the CBD into a shopping precinct we can all support and be proud of – a regional business hub and a centre for activity and connectivity.

We encourage all members of the business and wider community to put your hand up for this exciting new project! We would especially encourage Indigenous and young people to nominate.

The CBD Committee will comprise of up to five councillors, five business representatives, one Business Cowra Representative, one Cowra Tourism Representative, three Community members, and one Biz HQ representative.

Committee members will be required to comply with Council policies for Section 355 committees, including management of conflicts of interest.

Expressions of Interest will be accepted up until 4pm on Thursday 27 July, 2023.
