Road Closures in Cowra Shire

All of Council’s road network has been damaged by the extreme wet weather and floods - please drive to the conditions and follow signage and speed limits in place.

OPEN - DRIVE WITH CAUTION

  • Darbys Falls Road at the George Campbell Bridge over Waugoola Creek now open. A single lane of the bridge is now open operating under traffic light conditions. Height and width restrictions apply.
  • Lachlan Valley Way / Forbes Road to Gooloogong is now open to all vehicles. Speed restrictions are in place in areas, please drive with caution.
  • North Logan Road – speed limits in place at damaged sections.
  • Pine Spring Road (approx. 1km from Pine Mount Road) – open to light vehicles.
  • Brook Lane, Cowra – there is road damage on the causeway and roadway; travel permissible at reduced speed.
  • McKenny's Lane – table drain erosion and scour damage to pavement; travel permissible at reduced speed

CLOSED UNTIL REPAIR WORK CAN BE COMPLETED

  • Badgery Road – closed at and between the two causeways.
