Bell Beats Festival Unveils Full Program and Website

The wait is over, Bell Beats Music and Arts Festival has officially dropped its full line-up and launched its brand-new website, setting the stage for a spectacular debut on Saturday 4 October 2025.

For the next three years, Bell Beats will transform Cowra’s Civic Square and Cultural Precinct into a vibrant hub of live music, art, food and community connection across the October long weekend.

World Peace Day in Cowra is celebrated annually each September, to coincide with the United Nations International Day of Peace. The theme for this year’s International Day of Peace is Act Now for a Peaceful World​​. Cowra’s Peace Day Program will be held this year on Thursday 18 September 2025.

Bell Beats Festival to Launch as Cowra’s New October Long Weekend Tradition

Cowra is set to host an exciting new event with the introduction of the Bell Beats Music and Arts Festival, launching on Saturday 4 October 2025. The festival will take place in the Civic Square and Cultural Precinct on Darling Street and will run annually across the October long weekend until 2027.

Bin Stickers Rolling Out from Monday 15 September 2025

Cowra Shire Council will begin rolling out bin stickers from Monday 15 September as part of an initiative to better communicate with residents when a bin cannot be collected.
The stickers will be placed on the lids of bins that cannot be serviced under Council’s kerbside waste collection. The aim is to reduce confusion by providing a clear explanation when a bin is left behind.
