EXHIBITION OF DRAFT COWRA COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT CONTROL PLAN 2026
Pursuant to Clause 13(a) of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2021, resolution of Cowra Council at its Ordinary Meeting held 15 December 2025, and the requirements of the Cowra Council Community Participation Plan 2024, the draft Cowra Shire Council Development Control Plan 2026 (draft DCP) is placed on exhibition for public comment from Friday 30 January 2026 to Friday 6 March 2026.

At the Ordinary Meeting held 15 December 2025, Council also resolved to place a copy of Cowra Local Environmental Plan 2012 on public display (for information reference purposes only) in accordance with Clause 13(b) of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2021.
The draft DCP and LEP may be viewed during normal business hours at the following location:
Council’s Customer Service Centre, 116 Kendal Street, Cowra NSW 2794
Cowra Library, Darling Street, Cowra
Woodstock Post Office, Rankin Street, Woodstock
Gooloogong Handy Mart, King Street, Gooloogong
In addition to the exhibition venue listed above, a copy of the draft DCP and LEP is also being made available to members of the public via the Council’s website www.cowracouncil.com.au. Hard copies may be purchased from Council on request (photocopying charges will apply).
