2026 Seniors Festival in Cowra

The 2026 Seniors Festival in Cowra will be held from Monday 2 March to Sunday 15 March 2026. This year's theme is "Live life in Colour'!

With a jam-packed program of events running over the two weeks, there's something for everyone!

We hope you will share the program with your family and friends and encourage them to join in!

Some of the highlights include:

• Monday 2nd March – Cowra Seniors Festival Expo Join us for live music with Lusi Austin, morning tea, giveaways, free health checks and information stalls from local community groups & service providers.
• Tuesday 3rd March – Cowra Cemetery Tour with the Cowra Family History Group
• Thursday 5th March –‘Busted Canvas Craft Workshop with the CWA of NSW - Canimbla Branch
• Saturday 7th March – Free Movie Afternoon with a screening of Hamnet at the Cowra Civic Centre.
• Sunday 8th March – Lachlan Valley Railway Heritage Train Rides at the Cowra Rail Heritage Centre. Seniors ride free!
• Monday 9th March – High Tea @ CINC (Cowra Information & Neighbourhood Centre)
• Tuesday 10th and Thursday 12th March - Lunchtime Theatre at Club Cowra with the Cowra Theatre Company
• Wednesday 12th March – Annual Seniors Community Luncheon hosted by Cowra-Grenfell Meals-on-Wheels
• Wednesday 12thMarch – Author Talk with Rod Halstead at Cowra Library

• Sunday 15th March - 18th Great Annual Seniors Trivia Challenge at the Cowra Bowling Club

There will also be special sessions at the Cowra Library, craft workshops, morning and afternoon teas, and much, much more!

Many events are free or low-cost, however, bookings are essential for most events, so please check the booking requirements in the program and get in early.
